19th birthdays aren't very important. And neither is the 20th. You can already vote and drive, but you're still too young to legally drink. That's on thing I miss from Ireland (and Europe in general): once you turn 18 you're old enough to drive, vote and drink as much as you want.

And that reminds me, what am I supposed to drink on my wedding if I'm not 21?! Don't say juice or I'll scream, please.


Anyway, HAPPY 4TH OF JULY, EVERYONE!

I'm engaged.

It's been like three days and I still can't believe it. It's so surreal -- but in a good way, of course.

I guess I should start planning the wedding, but I have like no idea where to beging with. Could anybody help me, please? Anybody with, you know, experience in weddings. I'd be forever grateful!

Should I call Uncle Tom and tell him about this?

I'm so happy we're going to have someone to help us out at work. I was begining to fear the towers of paperwork would eat me. I used to think schoolwork was evil, but I'd take that over paperwork anytime. I miss my school days... Except for Maths. I don't miss Maths.

I've been doing some thinking lately -- other aside furniture, decoration and what color should the walls be on each room. I've always thought I'd be 20-something when I started dating some guy seriously and probably 25 when I would start thinking about moving in with my boyfriend. But here I am, not even 19 yet (I'll turn 19 in a few months, though) and I'm in a serious relationship with a guy and living with that said guy in a beautiful house... Kinda crazy if you think about it, right? But then I again I am known for doing crazy things. And I should say that I thought about the whole being 25 before I moved in when I was like 12, so it really doesn't count as anything serious.

Funny how life changes in a few years and how it changes your views in certain matters. For the better, so far.

I think the office needs a little change of decoration. New color on the walls and maybe some nice paintings... Yeah. I think it'd look much more better that way. What does the boss think? Like the idea?

That reminds me I should decorate my and Alex's house, paint the walls and all that. White is so... plain. I want lively colors. Alex, would you helo me painting, please? Pretty please!

Spike is getting huge. He takes half of the couch already, which is something I shouldn't let him do because he leaves fur all over it and I have to vacuum it - and I hate that. Hmm... I should check the dog whisperer guy website. That guy's awesome.

But seriously, someone please tell me the dog will stop growing when he's 2 or I may have to move to a bigger apartment.
